STUD DOGS
All stud dogs listed on this page have met the WSSDCA Inc. breeding criteria. The WSSDCA requires that your dog be hip and elbow x-rayed, and have a Haemophilia A (Factor 8) test done. If their results/scores fall within the required limits, your male will be issued 'Upgraded for Breeding' papers and is able to be listed on the stud dog page. Haemophilia A, or factor eight blood test, can be performed by your vet. (Click here for more information on Haemophilia A in dogs)
The club recommends the use of a contract between parties, clearly setting out the terms of use, responsibilities, and any stud fee's and/or boarding fee's payable.
